When Jenna and I first started talking about their wedding, I knew it was going to be a very fun wedding to shoot. When she started describing her colors, style and details, I knew this wedding was one I would fall in love with. I absolutely LOVED Jenna's Allure wedding gown which she purchased from Pure Elegance in Hays, KS! Jenna looked absolutely gorgeous all day and was so easy going! We started the day out with some detail shots and getting ready photos. Then, it came time for the FIRST LOOK! I was so worried that our lighting was going to be hard to shoot in because it kept going back and forth from sunny to overcast, but at just the right time the light was PERFECT and Jenna & Jeremy were able to share in a sweet moment of seeing each other all dressed up for the last time as an engaged couple! After the first look, we shot some bride and groom portraits, and they both rocked it! I'm pretty sure they could be models for a wedding magazine! They were great! Bridal photos were a blast because once again, we had beautiful light, a beautiful location AND a beautiful/handsome wedding party! We had plenty of time as well so we were able to get lots of fun poses! After the bridal party portraits, we snapped a few family formals then headed to the church. I was able to ride with the wedding party in the Coachman motor home ....and well...it was an experience! It was fun though! Once we were at the church, we did some last minute photos before the ceremony and then it was WEDDING TIME! Jeremy and Jenna exchanged vows in a gorgeous church in the tiny town of Dighton and then it was time to head to the fairgrounds for a party! There was some talk of bad weather, but we managed to stay clear of any storms for the evening. We did have a beautiful, yet windy evening to take a few more bride and groom portraits (my FAVORITE ones of the day)! We stayed for a little dancing, and then snapped a few sunset silhouette photos before it was time to hit the road back home.
Jeremy and Jenna, thank you so much for allowing KelliJo (KJ's Sure Shots) and I to be a part of and capture your wedding! We both had a great time getting to know you both and photographing you on the most important day of your lives! I can't wait to see what the future holds for both of you, and I wish you many, many happy years together!!
